Salinger !
I think that if Salinger came out with new work if would impact he American literary society in both ways. It could be good because it could keep a great writer alive. People can continue to read his work and he can stay famous and maybe grow in his fame. It always seem to be that when people die people become alot more interested in them. Maybe if they publish more of his work that piece will be a bigger hit than any of his other pieces. :)

I think you're right. That's usually how it happens, once someone dies, then everyone starts to care about what they did. If they published new stuff, then everyone would run out and buy it.
ReplyDeleteEmily, don't tell Kate she's right, bad idea. I can definately see what you are saying, but you state "it would impact he American society in both ways." What would the second way be besides the positive one you described above?
